A Letter To The Terrorist.

Dear Mr Terrorist,

If our speech won’t educate those bigots, what makes you think your bullets will?  Please Mr think about your actions before you go out an attack. Think how your actions will affect the wider Muslim population. What did you achieve by shooting those journalists? Sure they disrespected your religion, you can argue you were provoked. Those bigots and I will call them bigots because that’s what they are, have never read the Qur’an, see Mr what you failed to understand is that they were mocking Islam because they based it on you. Your actions. See, because of you, people now think Islam promotes violence and hate. Therefore the spoofs that were published were mocking my beautiful religion. They said Islam doesn’t stop the bullets and that the Qur’an is *beep*. This belief stemmed from you. They saw you attacking anyone who opposes your views and your patriarchal culture. Therefore, decided to challenge you, they mocked my religion to anger you. You pissed them off, so they decided to piss you off too. None of you are right. Both bigots.

So now you stormed inside that building in France, and sprayed your bullets and ran. You also killed a fellow Muslim brother in the process did you know that? Have you seen what they are calling us?! Have you seen the Twitter trend ‘#KillAllMuslims’ this is all because of you. This world is already so hostile to people like myself and there’s people like you making it even worse. Did you ever think about anyone besides yourself?

And that goes to all of you who commit crimes in the name of my lord Allah. How dare you oppress my brothers and sisters, because that’s what we are now, oppressed. We can’t leave our houses without someone shouting or telling us to “go back home”. You made made me feel under threat just to be a Muslim in this day and age. I don’t feel safe anymore. It hurts me when I read you killing more people in the name of Allah. You don’t care about the ummah, you only care about yourself. Your selfish. But hey the lord is watching, you may be fooled by your own sick ideology but he isn’t. He knows what your intentions are. Or do you think just because you have a rifle on your shoulder your better than Him that you won’t even obey Him no more? For me this oppression started in 2001, when you bombed those Twin Towers in America. Since then things have got worse. The hate has become stronger. They’re ripping hijabs off off and pushing us into the roads. They’re attacking mosques and starting online hate campaigns against us. You have done nothing for the ummah, you have not obeyed what the Qur’an says. Instead you’ve made all of us live in fear. You’ve created a horrible stereotype that we’re all like you. This world is ignorant but as Muslims you should know better. You have been giving the blessing of the Qur’an since birth which your meant to follow. If you read it you will see how it enforces peace, tolerance and love.

Regards Hajra (A young victim that will pay your price)

  1. This is just so sickening at so many levels, the attack it self was horrible and the aftermath is equally disturbing. Unfortunately in today’s times, Muslims and Islam will stay on trial thanks to these groups that are using ISLAM to advocate their terrorist activities.
Thanks for writing this and I applaud your post, also you highlighted that insane hashtag, serious I was like this can’t be happening but the good thing is that many people have come out and condemned this twitter trending, so much for free speech and the irony is that world is getting divided with each passing moment and closing the little space for humans just because of religious identities.

    1. I couldn’t agree more, we are indeed being segregating based on our religious identities. I’m so tired of hearing about idiots using Islam to attack and then justify they’re reasons. And the rest of the world doesn’t help. They say we have a right to free speech, but does that mean we can do whatever damn well please and without even studying the religion just create offensive and disturbing images of it? Just to be quirky and hip. No this is wrong. However that doesn’t mean every time someone disrespects Islam we blow their brains out. You are then showing Islam to be some angry barbaric religion. Honestly Saadia I’m really hoping things don’t kick of, tensions were high yesterday. This is just one more reason to add to the Islamophobia, it’s things like that this that make me feel unsafe when walking down the street. Why can’t people just leave us Muslims alone?!

  2. I understand Hajra, I have some cousins abroad and I spoke with them, I could feel their terrorized states over the phone line. Mere Khuda, I am really really worried about this, and you also. I kept thinking if this blows more madly it would mean a lot of things going bad for you there, I am saddened by this insane twitter handle but I was watching that a lot of western community has actually condemned this sort of Islamophobic nonsense being dolled out. You take care please and have you seen my post? I had a raving day with people getting mad all all because of the France event!!!!!!

  3. Thank you so much for posting it, sister Hajra. I have thought about it too. But you have written it first. I really hope the police can catch the terrorists. Yes we should clear this issue, n against the stupid hashtag, #Terrorist is.

      1. I don’t post it yet. Btw, I have never agree too to the action of people who destroyed masjids in France after the terror. They have to open their eyes, their minds n hearts, why did they destroy masjids? Masjids didn’t do the terror, right?

      2. Ignorance, they think the actions of 2 people are the actions of like billions of people. The West particularly likes to turn a blind eye and put on they’re hypocritical thinking caps on.

      3. I think, it was like a scenario to give the negative image of Islam. Have the police caught these terrorists? #KillAllMuslim . Oh, very…very horrible thing!
imagine, what about the Muslim babies who couldn’t do anything. If the people who fear of Islam want , please catch the terrorists first. Hi, dear, have you ever heard about the real terrorists who bomb the twin towers? Many of American said, the actors were not Muslim.

      4. God knows where the truth lies, however we’re the ones that will pay. There’s many conspiracies about the 9/11 I’ve searched into many. But one thing I know for certain is where the ones that paid the most for that crime.

  4. United we will stand and try our best to educate and make aware that Islam is NOT a terrorist religion and that 1.6 million Muslims are not terrorists, give us a break please.

    1. Exactly, most of us live normal lives. We do normal things and have the same mannerism as others. But of course to the opposition we’re more like mystical creatures who have come into this planet to hurt them lol. The way some people get so intrigued when you tell them ‘I’m a Muslim’. Makes me laugh like chill dude my faith only adds to my character, it doesn’t make me some alien robot.

  5. Yes sometimes, its funny when they are talking normally until the idea pops up and they ask What is your religion and upon knowing there is complete shift in their attitude. I was sitting in flight next to a bigot on way back from Brussels some months ago and the moment he realized I was Muslim he started acting strange. First he wanted to change seat, that was not possible then he put away his phone gadget away probably imagining I was a thief and continued to check out Islamophobic content on the laptop screen. I was sure happy to sleep my way to Karachi and upon disembarking I told him have a good stay in my city and country. He looked at me so confused as if I was an alien, lol

    1. Eugh how annoying. I wish these bigots would just educate themselves, the way he behaved around you is like how a human is scared of a spider or an ant. We fail to understand that species is probably more afraid of us. And that we have more power then that any or spider. The same these bigots treat us.

  6. Yes I didn’t know whether to laugh or get very angry, but it was so uncomfortable. These europeans ruled the with their colonial mindsets and even today most of them cannot accept us as equal, its like a joke truly.
Poor spiders and ants are better then such excuses of human species.

    1. Yeah that’s true we will never be equal. I find myself getting more and more frustrated. The incident that happened in Paris has for some reason really frustrated me more than usual. I guess this constant bad news is damaging for the mind frame.

      1. Yes I can understand, hopefully you can find time to switch off your phone and relax with some chai and pakoras, over the weekend. lol, this pakistani therapy works for me!

      2. Yeah I think that exactly what I need to do just switch off. Too much Twitter and news is a bad combo lol. And thank for sharing your relaxation tip. I would bloody love a pakora right one with preferably keema in it 🙂

    1. Oh it really is, so many opinions all rushing in at once. However it has it’s benefits too. At least this way I can keep an eye on the bigots and understand their mind frames from their stupid tweets haha

  7. You asked “Why can’t people just leave us Muslims alone?!” and the answer is because Islam is losing face with each new terror attack. A beheading one night, 200 Pakistani children slaughtered the next, a cartoonist murdered the next, 2000 villagers killed by Boko Haram the next etc. This has brought Islam into view for all the wrong reasons. If you dislike that then be part of the solution by showing tolerance and love. You dismiss people by calling them idiots and biggots a lot for simply voicing opinions you don’t like.

That’s not going to help improve the world view of Islam at all. Heck I see some Muslims online so confident that they are guaranteed to rule the world at this point that they even forget history. Islam once dominated Europe but non-Muslims were polarized by Muslim barbarism and the Crusades began. I sincerely hope the hatred stops, from both sides, before the violence really begins.

    1. I am not sure, how you can possibly misinterpret this letter. However, please allow me to explain. This letter is for those who use my faith as tool to commit crimes which only benefit them. I am not dismissing people; I always welcome different opinions as I believe opinions spark discussion which can lead to a change. If I really dismissed people who disagreed with me I wouldn’t be answering to your comments. If I was so intolerable I would just trash them. But for me, that doesn’t allow society to progress. “I sincerely hope the hatred stops, from both sides, before the violence really begins”. I hope so too and also the violence has begun, just because it hasn’t affected the UK doesn’t mean it’s not happening, research on Syria for example.
